freshgoldprice.com is a financial data publisher providing live gold and silver prices for 31 countries in local currencies. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to freshgoldprice.com and its operators.

2a. Automatically collected data

When you visit freshgoldprice.com, our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages) automatically collects standard server log data including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. Cloudflare processes this data to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not receive identifiable individual-level log records.

2b. Contact form

If you submit a message via the contact form in the footer, we collect your name (optional), message text, and the IP address and timestamp of the submission. We use this solely to read and respond to your message. Contact submissions are stored in Cloudflare KV storage and are not shared with third parties. Submissions are retained for up to 90 days.

2c. Analytics

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics or Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate page traffic (page views, country, device type). If Google Analytics is active, it may set cookies on your device. Google Analytics data is processed by Google under their Privacy Policy. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.

2d. Advertising

We display advertisements through Google AdSense (publisher ID: pub-8098918184355228). Google AdSense may use cookies and device identifiers to show personalised ads based on your browsing history. To opt out of personalised ads, visit Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.

2e. Theme preference

Your light/dark mode preference is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key theme. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to any server.

3. Cookies

freshgoldprice.com itself does not set any first-party cookies. Third-party services that may set cookies:

  • jsDelivr CDN (JavaScript libraries) — no user data is shared

6. Data Retention

  • Contact form submissions: up to 90 days
  • Server logs (Cloudflare): handled per Cloudflare's retention policies
  • Analytics data: per Google Analytics retention settings (default 14 months)
  • Theme preference: stored locally in your browser; deleted when you clear localStorage

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights or request deletion of a contact form submission, email [email protected] with the approximate date of your submission.
